Bree & Ruben | October 14, 2006 | Ensenada, Mexico

Bree and Ruben were married in Ensenada, Mexico this past weekend.

The weather, which had been threatening rain in the afternoon held off, thankfully, and it was clear and cool.

The ceremony was a blending of Hispanic traditions and Jewish traditions reflecting their unique backgrounds. The ceremony and the reception were held at the Hacienda in Ensenada. Pilar Lozano of Ensenada Weddings was the coordinator for the event.

The couple, from the Pasadena area, had a great time and were joined by nearly 150 of their friends and family -- many from California but from other parts of the country as well. Included in the guests were Justin and Marissa, who I photographed just over two years ago and referred me to Bree & Ruben (thanks you guys!). Selecting Ensenada for the destination was special as it gave the wedding a distinctly different feel than had it been held in the States.

Angela & Deven's Wedding | October 7, 2006 | Irvine, CA

Angela and Deven were married this past Saturday in Irvine, CA!!

Strawberry Farms Golf Club was the site for the wedding and the weather certainly cooperated. Crystal clear blue sky and temperatures that were comfortable made for a great day.

This was my first wedding at this location and Heather and her team helped make the event smooth sailing. They were a treat.

The day was full of emotion as you can see in the photograph of Deven, wiping away tears upon seeing Angela come down the aisle. She was escorted up to the row of chairs by her father, and then was walked up the aisle by her step father. It was a lovely day.

The reception was held in the event barn at the Club and the twinkle lights strung through the rafters made for some wonderful highlights in the photographs of Angela and Deven during their first dance. They were taken to their honeymoon hotel in an amazing 1939 Packard provided by Lake Forest Limousines, Inc. and driven by Randy Tooker.
