I'm wondering if a trip to the midwest in March just cements that decision to live in California? Or is it to get a little fix of winter so as to not impose it on the family?
Believe me, I'd be heading for Fiji after the winter we have had. Mind you that we had snow in October, then it was gone until the end of January when we had bitterly cold temperatures through mid-February.
The past Friday, driving to MKE, was a bit dicey to say the least. I'm glad I chose to stay in MKE rather than drive back and forth every day. Friends that left State Fair Park got to Delafield about 45 minutes later. Had dinner and left Delafield at 8 p.m. and didn't get to Columbus until after 11:30 p.m.
The Interstate traffic was going about 30mph....cars are still ditched I heard this morning...
Winter is fun, dreary, but yet...spring is going to happen soon....let's just hope not July....
