Sabrina & John's Wedding | April 21, 2007

Sabrina and John had their wedding Saturday and the ceremony was at the Mission Basilica in San Juan Capistrano, a place incredibly rich with history and tradition.

After the wedding we spent about an hour taking photographs of the wedding party and the couple inside the old mission grounds adjacent to the Basilica. Sabrina & John then decided to walk a few blocks to their reception location at El Adobe.

It was a great time, a lot of wild dancing and just a fantastic day -- have a great honeymoon you two and we'll talk when you get back!

The groom looks so happy. I really like the way the whole wedding party is set up in the b&w photo. It almost reminds me of a tin-type. And I like that the bride/groom aren't dead center.

That's called "creativity."

I liked all the photos, too. I especially liked the one with the younger girls hugging the bride.

Great work!!

Peggy :)

Are they the couple you photographed at the beach? Great pictures!! Buildings look familiar--where we attended Christmas Mass in 2004.

Hi Gina,

Thanks...that was a spontaneous toast with friends ... they also did the more formal toasts too with Dad and Best Man and Maid of Honor...

Fun...

Mom, yep, that was the same church we went to in 04.

Thanks Peg

Ruth...yes, I envisioned an old world kind of photo from this grouping...given the historical setting where it made...
